|Broccoli||1 1⁄2 Pound, washed, trimmed, and broken into florets (1 Bunch)|
|Garlic clove||1 Large, minced|
|Half and half/Light cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Ounce (2 Heaping Tablespoons)|
Place broccoli in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until very tender; drain.
Place broccoli in work bowl of food processor fitted with a steel knife; puree.
Add butter, garlic, half and half, and cheese and whirl for a few seconds more.
Return puree to saucepan and heat over a low flame until hot.
