Herbed sauces have always been my favorite and this Creamy Basil Sauce is something special that I love it even bettter! A very delicious sauce to go with Linguine, this Creamly Basil sauce is full of flavor and is such an easy dish to prepare. Just give this easy to master recipe a try!
3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Low Fat No Salt Added)
1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs), lightly packed
Ground black pepper
Bring 3 quarts water to boil in covered pot.
Add linguine and cook until al dente.
Chop garlic in food processor.
Add the cottage cheese, Gorgonzola and basil and process until smooth.
Add tomato, cut in chunks, and process only until tomatoes are tiny chunks.
Stir in pepper and pine nuts, if used.
When pasta is cooked, drain well and stir into sauce.
