Improvise a delicious salad by boiling and draining 1 cup of rice or pasta.
Slice some pitted black olives, add chopped red onion rings and scallion slices, a handful of peas, and chopped watercress.
If there are sun dried tomatoes on the salad bar, mince and add them, too.
