Fettuccine In White Sauce

|Soft butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipping cream/Half and half||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Medium egg noodles||1 Pound, cooked, drained, and seasoned|
|Shredded parmesan cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ground pepper||To Taste|
|Ground nutmeg||To Taste|
Melt butter or margarine in blazer pan of chafing dish over direct high flame.
Stir in cream or half and half; heat until bubbly to center of pan.
Add noodles; sprinkle with cheese and toss lightly.
Sprinkle with pepper and nutmeg.
