Manicotti With Butterscotch Sauce
|Butterscotch chips package||1|
|Sweetened condensed milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk/Half and half||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla ice cream scoop||6 , softened|
|Sweet dessert manicotti||6|
|Whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Garnish)|
|Toasted slivered almond||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Garnish)|
In a double boiler or a small pan inside a larger pan, melt butterscotch chips over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Stir in sweetened condensed milk and milk or half and half.
Heat and stir milk mixture; do not boil.
Set aside to cool.
Spread 1 scoop of ice cream over each Dessert Manicotti.
Roll up jelly-roll fashion.
Place seam-side down on a small platter.
Freeze until set, 30 minutes.
Serve with butterscotch sauce.
Garnish with whipped cream and toasted slivered almonds.
Makes 6 rolls.
