Snowy, Cold Or Rainy Day Spaghetti's picture
  Ground beef 3 Pound
  Canned whole tomatoes 30 Ounce (2 Cans)
  Canned tomato paste 12 Ounce (2 Cans)
  Canned chopped mushroom 4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Celery ribs 2 , diced
  Green bell pepper 1 , diced
  Onion 1 Large, diced
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Sugar 1 Pinch
  Chili powder To Taste
  Spaghetti 3 Pound, cooked, drained
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Place the undrained tomatoes in a large kettle and press to crush.
Stir in the tomato paste, mushrooms, celery, green pepper, onion and garlic.
Stir in the ground beef, salt, pepper and sugar.
Sprinkle the chili powder sparingly over the beef mixture, as it gets stronger as it cooks.
Cook over low heat for no less than 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
