Tortellini With Basil Sauce
|Refrigerated spinach tortellini||9 Ounce|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Cook tortellini according to package directions, omitting salt.
Drain and keep warm.
Combine tomato sauce, garlic, basil, and oregano in a small saucepan, bring to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese.
Transfer sauce to a serving bowl, and surround with tortellini to dip in warm sauce.
