Spaghetti with Romano Sauce
|Spicy smoked italian sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Tomatoes/1 cup canned tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Crushed chili peppers||2|
|Chopped mint/1/4 teaspoon dried mint||1 Teaspoon|
|Parmesan cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Saute hamburger and sausage together until thoroughly cooked.
Pour off fat, and add onion, parsley and garlic.
Saute 5 minutes; add remaining ingredients except spaghetti and cheese.
Cook slowly until thickened; taste for seasoning.
Remove bay leaf before serving.
Serve over hot cooked spaghetti, and pass bowl of Parmesan cheese.
