Fettuccine With Sausages And Tomatoes

  Italian sausage 500 Gram
  Olive oil 15 Milliliter
  Sweet green pepper 1
  Onion 1
  Canned tomatoes 796 Milliliter
  Fettuccine/Linguine 375 Gram
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Prick sausage all over.
In large skillet, cover sausage with water; bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
Drain and cut sausage into 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick slices.
Add oil to skillet and heat over medium heat; add sausages and brown lightly.
Add green pepper and onion; cook for 5 minutes or until softened.
Pour in tomatoes and break up with fork; bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes or until thickened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water, cook fettuccine until tender but firm.
Drain and toss with sauce.
