Fresh Tomato Pasta Sauce
|Scallions||2 , minced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Tomatoes||6 Large, skinned and coarsely chopped|
|Ground pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Parsley||1 Teaspoon (For Garnish)|
1) In a non-stick pan, heat oil and butter, and sautÃ© scallions and garlic, for 3 minutes until soft.
2) In a slow cooker, place the scallion mixture along with tomatoes, oregano, pepper and seasoning.
3) Put the lid on and simmer for 3 hours.
4) Serve hot over desired pasta and garnish with parsley.
