Penne Pasta With Cherry Tomato And Cream Sauce

Michael Butler makes penne pasta with cherry tomato cream sauce.
  Pasta 1 Pound
  Olive oil 1 Teaspoon
  Italian sausage 1 Pound, sliced
  Cherry tomatoes 2 Pound
  Mushrooms 1 Pound, sliced
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Heavy cream 1 Pint
  Fresh basil 1 Bunch (100 gm)
  Parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Cook Pasta according to package directions
heat olive oil and add onions, sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms.
cook until tomatoes are broken and sauce has reduced
add salt and pepper
add 1 cup of the water from the pasta to the tomato sauce
add cream
lower heat to medium low and cook until thickened
Add drained pasta to sauce
sprinkle some cheese on mixture and toss well.
transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
