Linguini With Clam Sauce

Ingredients
  Linguini 1 Pound
  Boiling water 4 Quart
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Olive oil/Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Garlic/1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Juice 4 Tablespoon, drained from clams
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste (Light Sprinkle)
  Parsley flakes/1 teaspoon parsley flakes 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Canned clams 10 Ounce, drained (2 Containers Of 5 Ounce Each)
  White wine/Alcohol free wine 1 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon (For Sprinkling)
Directions

MAKING
1) In uncovered Dutch oven boil water add linguini s, cooking oil and first amount of salt and cook for about 11 to 13 minutes.
2) Drain out from water.
3) Add butter to linguini and toss lightly.
4) In a pan heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
5) Stir in clam juice, second amount of salt, pepper and parsley.
6) Simmer the juice until it reduces to 1/2 quantity.
7) Mix clams and wine. Add more wine if required.
8) Heat thoroughly.
9) On a warm platter arrange linguini.
10) Pour clam sauce over it.

SERVING
11) Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top and serve.
