Fettuccine With Herbed Prosciutto
|Margarine||4 Teaspoon (1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon)|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), minced|
|Chopped fresh sage/2 teaspoons dried sage||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped fresh thyme/2 teaspoons dried thyme||2 Tablespoon|
|Low sodium chicken broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced prosciutto||2 Ounce, coarsely chopped|
|Blanched asparagus spears||6 , cut into 1 inch pieces|
|Fettuccine||3 Ounce, cooked, drained|
1 . In large nonstick skillet, melt margarine; add garlic, sage and thyme. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in broth, prosciutto and asparagus; simmer 1 -2 minutes, until heated through.
2. Add fettuccine to skillet; toss to mix well. Cook 1 minute longer to blend flavors.
