In this edition of "A Cooking Video", my guest cook, Miss Hands prepares a quick and delicious whole wheat linguine with a scallop tomato sauce with fresh basil. With a few simple ingredients, you can throw this together in no time.
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped finely
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped finely
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, diced
Scallops 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Frozen pack - defrosted)
  Butter/Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Basil leaves 2 Medium
  Salt & pepper To Taste
Whole wheat pasta 200 Gram (Cooked as per instructions on the packet)

1. Take a pan and heat it with some butter and add the onions and fry for a minute. Then add the garlic and continue frying till brown in color.
2. Add in the diced tomatoes and heat it on high heat so that all the liquid comes out and evaporates quickly. It is not necessary to cook the tomatoes completely.
3. After a couple of minutes add in the scallops and stir for a couple of more minutes. Add in few broken basil leaves.
4. Plate the prepared mix onto the cooked whole wheat pasta.

5. Serve warm.
