Farfalle Westphalian

Ingredients
  Farfalle 450 Gram (Bow Tie Shape Pasta)
  Diced ham 450 Gram
  Unsalted butter 60 Milliliter
  Flour 30 Milliliter (All Purpose)
  Chicken stock 250 Milliliter
  Light cream 125 Milliliter
  Black pepper 3 Milliliter
  Freshly grated parmesan cheese 60 Milliliter
  Fine bread crumbs 60 Milliliter
Directions

In a kettle cook the noodles al dente.
Drain and place in a 2 quart (2 L) greased casserole dish.
Mix in the ham.
Reserve hot.
In a small sauce pan heat 1/2 the butter.
Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
Add the chicken stock, simmer for 3 minutes.
Add the cream and pepper.
Simmer until thick.
Pour over noodles.
Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs.
Dot with the remaining butter.
Bake in a preheated 500°F (260°C) oven for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve at once.
