Bacon Spaghetti Sauce
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned whole tomatoes||16 Ounce, drained and cut up (1 Can)|
|Canned tomato puree||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried marjoram leaves||1 Teaspoon|
|Canadian bacon slices||6 Ounce, cut into 1/2 inch strips (1 Package)|
In 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine onion and olive oil.
Microwave at High for 3 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato puree, sugar, marjoram and pepper.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at High for 13 to 16 minutes, or until flavors are blended, stirring twice.
Stir in Canadian bacon.
Microwave at High for 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through.
