Spaghetti With Asparagus Sauce
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|For asparagus sauce|
|Fresh asparagus spears||500 Gram, trimmed|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Thick wholegrain bread slice||1|
|Evaporated skim milk||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Grated mozzarella cheese||60 Gram|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1|
1.Cook spaghetti in boiling water in a large saucepan following packetdirections.
2.To make sauce, steam, boil or microwave asparagus until tender.
Drain and refresh under cold running water.
Cut into 3 cm pieces and set aside.
Heat oil in a trypan, add breadcrumbs and cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring all the time.
Stir in milk and asparagus, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Mix in cheese and continue to cook until melted.
Season to taste with pepper.
3.Place spaghetti on a warmed serving platter, spoon over sauce and toss gently to combine.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
