Inside Out Ravioli
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Bottled spaghetti sauce||16 Ounce (1 3/4 Cups, 1 Jar)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce (2/3 Cup)|
|Elbow macaroni||8 Ounce, uncooked (2 Cup)|
|Shredded processed american cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in large skillet.
Drain off excess fat.
Cook spinach according to package directions.
Drain, but reserve liquid and add water to make 1 cup.
Add spinach liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, sugar and pepper to meat mixture.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
Combine spinach with the macaroni, cheese, bread crumbs and eggs; spread in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
Top with meat sauce.
Bake at 350° 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Let stand 10 minutes.
