Inside Out Ravioli Casserole
|Macaroni||7 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Salad oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Frozen chopped spinach package||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned spaghetti sauce with mushrooms||1 Pound|
|Shredded sharp cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
Cook the macaroni according to package directions and drain.
Brown the beef, onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon oil.
Cook the spinach according to package directions, then drain and reserve the liquid.
Add water to the reserved liquid to measure 1 cup, then add to the beef mixture.
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.
Combine, the spinach, macaroni, cheese, crumbs, eggs and 1/4 cup oil, then spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with the beef sauce.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
