Cannellini With Pasta And Vegetables
|Olive oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced red onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1/4-inch wide strips)|
|Sliced red bell pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1/4-inch wide strips)|
|Cooked penne/Cooked ziti macaroni||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned white kidney beans||8 Ounce, rinsed, drained (cannellini)|
|Chopped fresh basil/1/2 teaspoon basil leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. In 9-inch nonstick skillet heat oil; add onion and pepper and cook over medium-high heat until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes.
2. Reduce heat to low; add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cook, stirring frequently, until thoroughly heated, about 5 minutes.
