Spaghetti Sauce Bolognaise

Ingredients
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Tvp mince/4 vegetable burgers, crumbled 4 1⁄2 Ounce (1 packet)
  Mushrooms 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Canned chopped tomatoes 32 Ounce (2 cans, 16oz each)
  Tomato paste 5 Tablespoon
  Fresh basil To Taste
  Water/Vegetable stock (if using protein mince) 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the onions and garlic until lightly browned.
Add the TVP mince and mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Add the tomatoes, tomato paste and basil (and water if using TVP mince) and simmer, covered, for 1 hour (it may be ready sooner, but the longer it simmers, the better the flavour).
Add a little water or vegetable stock if the sauce becomes too thick.
