Rich Fettuccine Alfredo
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated fresh parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fettuccine noodles||12 Ounce, cooked, drained|
Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat.
When butter begins to sizzle, add flour and stir 3 to 4 minutes.
Slowly add cream and whisk together until smooth.
When sauce is heated through, add Parmesan cheese and cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted.
Season with salt and pepper if desired.
Pour sauce over noodles and garnish with additional cheese.
This dish is great with a little diced cooked ham or crumbled bacon.
