Basil Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 8 Clove (40 gm), minced
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Coarsely chopped peeled tomatoes 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Minced fresh basil/2 tablespoons dried basil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Minced fresh parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
Add tomatoes, basil, parsley, salt, pepper and sugar; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours.
