Saucy Turkey Manicotti
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Sour cream sauce mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned chopped mushrooms||4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Snipped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped cooked turkey/Chopped cooked chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cheese sauce mix||1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cook manicotti shells in boiling salted water till tender, 15 to 20 minutes; drain.
Combine water and instant minced onion; let stand 5 minutes.
Combine cream cheese and sour cream sauce mix; blend in milk.
Stir in softened onion, mushrooms, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Add turkey or chicken; mix well.
Spoon mixture into cooked manicotti shells.
Arrange stuffed manicotti in a single layer in a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.
Prepare cheese sauce mix according to package directions.
Pour sauce over manicotti.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake, covered, at 350° till heated through, 35 to 40 minutes.
