Anchovy Sauce For Pasta
|Basil/Parsley||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Olive oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Walnut pieces||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, drained and chopped (1 Can)|
|Canned anchovy fillets||2 Ounce, drained and finely chopped (1 Can)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Freshly grated parmesan cheese||3 Tablespoon|
1. Put the basil, garlic, oil, and walnuts in the container of an electric blender or food processor. Blend or process until smooth.
2. Transfer the basil mixture to a medium-sized saucepan. Add the tomatoes, anchovy fillets, and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring, and simmer for 5 minutes.
