Fettuccine With Wild Mushrooms

Ingredients
  Fettuccine 1⁄2 Pound
  Dried mushrooms 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (preferably porcini)
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Olive oil 4 Tablespoon
  White wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Heavy cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Let mushrooms soak until soft, approx. 20-30 minutes.
Drain, then chop.Heat in large skillet.
Add mushroom pieces and cook for 5 minutes on a medium-low heat.
Add and cook for 3 minutes.
Add and cook on a low heat for 5 more minutes, or until sauce gets thick.
Add pasta and toss.
Add extra cheese just before serving.
