Classic Varnishkas with Pasta Bow Knots
|Butter/Margarine||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Chopped onions||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Sliced mushrooms||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Uncooked chicken broth/Beef broth||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Cooked pasta bow knots||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Minced parsley||2 Teaspoon|
Kasha Pilaf: In large skillet, melt butter and saute onions and mushrooms.
Prepare kasha according to basic directions on package, using chicken or beef broth as the liquid called for on package directions.
Add the sauteed vegetables when the liquid is added and eliminate any additional butter or margarine.
Before serving, fluff kasha with a fork and sprinkle with parsley.
