Pasta With Pesto
|Pasta||3⁄4 Pound (340 Gram)|
|Fresh basil||1 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Package, Leaves Only)|
|Pine nuts/Walnuts||80 Milliliter (1/3 Cup)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), peeled|
|Olive oil||80 Milliliter (1/3 Cup)|
|Parmesan cheese||120 Milliliter, freshly grated (1/2 Cup)|
|Hot water||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)|
Bring large pot of water to a boil.
Cook pasta according to package directions while you prepare the pesto.
Place basil along with nuts and garlic in a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped.
With the machine running, pour in the olive oil in a thin stream.
Add the cheese, salt and pepper to taste, and process brieily to combine.
Thin with 2 tbs hot water.
Toss pesto with hot pasta, cooked and drained.
