Pasta with Broccolini

Broccolini is similar in name and taste to broccoli, but it’s actually from the cabbage family. Its high in vitamin C, but also contains vitamin A, calcium, folate and iron
  Broccolini 1 Pound, chopped finely
  Pasta 12 Ounce
  Olive oil/Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon

1. In a large pot, boil pasta in salted water.
2. Add broccolini when pasta is tender.
3. In a bowl, place drained pasta and broccolini.
4. Add olive oil, parmesan cheese and salt and combine.

5. Serve it with any pasta sauce.

Pasta with butter for kids may not be good, so here is way of pumping it with more nutrition without much extra work for moms. In this video, weelicious host is making pasta with broccolini. She simply adds chopped broccolini in the pasta pot. Rest of the process is same like buttered pasta; just drain and add butter, salt and parmesan cheese. As she says, store the leftovers and serve it the next day, it’s still delicious and healthy.
