Pasta With Scallops And Pine Nuts

A quick pan seared scallops and pasta served with a heap of love!
Ingredients
  Scallops 1 Pound
  Cumin powder To Taste
  Bacon salt To Taste
  Pine nuts 1 Tablespoon
  Pasta 1 Cup (16 tbs) (I usually use small tubers for this one - kinda like a pastitsio noodles only smaller check your local middle eastern market)
  Parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

boil .5 # of the pasta (half package) according to the package
wash and dry the scallops - make sure they are bone dry!
dust with cumin and the bacon salt if using
pan sear for a few minutes on each side
brown some butter - mix in the cooked pasta
to plate - start with the pasta - pine nuts - a smidge of cheese - top with your scallops!
eat and enjoy

It's a lot more healthy than cooking with real bacon! It's not bad. I wish they made a bacon pepper so I could cut down on the sodium. This company makes three types and although I have all three I've only used the original so far...
