Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix

  Onion flakes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Parsley flakes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried oregano 2 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Dried basil 1 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Dried thyme 1 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Black pepper 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic flakes 2 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 4 Large, crumbled

Place all the ingredients in a 1 pint jar, cover tightly, and shake well to mix.
Store in a cool, dark, dry place for up to 2 months.
To Make Spaghetti Sauce In a medium size heavy saucepan over moderate heat, mix together 2 cans (28 ounces each) low sodium tomatoes, drained and chopped, 1 can (6 ounces) low sodium tomato paste, and 1 cup water; stir in 1/2 cup Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix.
Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon over spaghetti or other pasta.
