Zebra Parfaits

Ingredients
For chocolate pudding
  Granulated sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Unsweetened cocoa powder 2 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Evaporated skim milk 12 Ounce (1 Can)
  Pure vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
For vanilla pudding parfait
  Chocolate pudding 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla pudding 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 2 Tablespoon (Such As Walnuts Or Almonds)
Directions

1. Make chocolate pudding: In small bowl, combine sugar and cocoa powder. Add 2 tablespoons boiling water and stir until smooth and shiny.
2. In second small bowl, stir together cornstarch and 1/4 cup evaporated milk to dissolve cornstarch.
3. In medium saucepan, stir together remaining evaporated milk, cocoa mixture, and cornstarch mixture. Over medium-low heat, stir pudding continuously, until it thickens and comes to a boil, about 6 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Pour into serving bowl(s). Cool slightly. Press plastic wrap directly on surface. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, about 2 hours.
4. Make vanilla pudding: In bowl, stir cornstarch and 1/4 cup evaporated milk to dissolve cornstarch.
5. In medium saucepan, stir remaining evaporated milk, sugar, and cornstarch mixture. Over medium-low heat, stir pudding continuously, until it thickens and comes to a boil, about 6 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Pour into serving bowl(s). Cool slightly. Press plastic wrap directly on surface. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, about 2 hours.
6. Assemble parfaits: For each of the 4 parfaits, in small, tall, parfait glass or dessert glass, layer the following: 2 tablespoons chocolate pudding, 2 tablespoons vanilla pudding, 1/2 teaspoon chopped nuts, and then repeat the layering twice more with the chocolate, vanilla, and nuts.
