Plum Good Parfaits

Ingredients
  Fresh plums/1 can, 30 ounce whole, unpitted purple plums, drained 12
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Dash
  Ground cloves 1 Dash
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

Pit and slice plums.
In medium saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves, and dash salt.
Stir in plums and lemon juice.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 8 to 10 minutes; cool.
Layer with vanilla ice cream in parfait glasses.
