|Granulated sugar||75 Milliliter (1/3 Cup)|
|Rum||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)|
|Hot milk||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Candied fruit||50 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Canned pureed chestnuts||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Whipped cream||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
Place sugar, egg yolks and rum in bowl.
Mix together with electric beater until fluffy €” about 2 minutes.
Pour in hot milk and whisk well.
Cook cream in double-boiler until it coats the back of a spoon.
Whisk constantly! Stir in candied fruit.
Choose tall dessert glasses and spoon layer of pureed chestnuts in bottom.
Follow with layer of custard cream and repeat until ingredients are used.
Top parfaits with whipped cream and if desired decorate with icing.
