Chocolate Pudding Parfaits
|Chocolate||2 Ounce, chopped (semi-sweet)|
|White chocolate||2 Ounce, chopped|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Egg yolks||2 , beaten|
|Vanilla||2 Teaspoon (divided)|
Place semisweet chocolate and white chocolate in separate heatproof bowls; set aside.
Combine sugar, flour and cornstarch in medium saucepan.
Gradually whisk in milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove saucepan from heat.
Stir small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks; return to hot mixture in pan.
Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened.
Spoon half of the egg mixture over each of the two chocolates in bowls; stir until chocolates are completely melted.
Add 1 teaspoon of the vanilla to each bowl; stir until blended.
Alternate layers of puddings in parfait glasses; cover.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
