Tia Maria Parfait
|French chestnuts/1 cup canned apricots||8 Ounce (Marrons Glace, 1 Jar Of 8 Ounce)|
|Coffee liqueur||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Tia Maria)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1 Chop the chestnuts or apricots roughly.
2 In a bowl, put the chopped chest nuts or apricots and pour the coffee liqueur over them.
3 Set aside for 1 hour.
4 Drain the chestnuts or apricots well.
5 Place half of them in parfait glasses.
6 Top with ice cream combined with the Tia Maria.
7 Sprinkle the remaining chestnuts or apricots on top.
8 Place in the refrigerator until ready to use.
9 Decorate with rosettes of whipped cream or a dollop of cream.
10 Serve at once.
