Griddle Cakes

Ingredients
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Sift together dry ingredients, add milk, mixed with the egg well beaten.
Beat all together until smooth.
Bake on a hot griddle until brown.
Serve with butter.
