|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter||3 Tablespoon, melted|
|Shortening/Unsalted oil||1 Teaspoon (For greasing) (Optional)|
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in bowl.
Combine egg, milk and oil.
Make well in dry ingredients, and pour in egg mixture.
Beat only until combined.
Heat griddle or frying pan to 350°F or until drop of cold water will dance across the surface.
Grease with unsalted oil or shortening if necessary.
Allow about 1/4 cup batter (use individual measure) for each 4-inch pancake.
Bake until top of pancake is covered with bubbles and edges begin to lose their gloss.
Turn cakes, and bake until golden brown.
Makes 12-14 pancakes.
