Fluffy Breakfast Pancakes
|Sour milk/Buttermilk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Unsifted all purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Soft butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon|
Beat egg yolks well; stir sour milk and soda together, and stir into egg yolks.
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt, and add to milk mixture.
Then beat in butter or margarine.
Beat egg whites until they hold stiff peaks, and fold into batter.
Drop from tablespoon onto hot greased griddle, and bake as directed above.
Makes 14Ã¢â‚¬â€16 pancakes.
