Pancakes

Chef Keith Snow demonstrates how to make the perfect healthy homemade pancakes.
Ingredients
  Harvest eating pancake mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flax seeds 1 Tablespoon, freshly ground
  Egg 1 Large, beaten
  Whole milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Clarified butter 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large bowl, add the Harvest eating pancake mix, ground flax seeds, beaten egg and 1/2 cup whole milk.
2) Start whisking the ingredients, gradually adding milk as needed until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
3) Heat a non stick griddle, add the clarified butter, ladle the mixture to make small pancakes onto the preheated girdle.
4) When the edges begin browning, flip over and cook the other side.

SERVING
5) Drizzle the Pancakes with maple syrup, top a dollop of creme fraiche or Greek yogurt and serve immediately.
