Everyday Buttermilk Pancakes
|All-purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Buttermilk||1 1⁄8 Cup (18 tbs) (1 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
1 In a bowl, mix the first 4 ingredients.
2 In another bowl, Combine egg, buttermilk, and oil.
3 Gradualy stir into the dry ingredients.
4 On a hot, lightly greased griddle, pour about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
5 When the tops become bubbly and the edges are brown, turn the pancakes.
6 Cook on the other side.
7 Serve with syrup.
