Whole Wheat Pancakes

Ingredients
  Buttermilk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vegetable oil 4 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Whole wheat flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Double acting baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the buttermilk, egg, oil and sugar until thoroughly blended
2. Add all the other ingredients and stir till smooth
3. On a nonstick skillet, spray a coat of cooking spray and heat over medium flame
4. Divide the batter into two adn use one half to pour heaped tablespoonfuls onto the skillet
5. Cook until the bottom is browned, turn over to the other side and cook until brown again; remove onto a serving plate and make three more pancakes
6. Use the rest of the batter similarly to make another four pancakes

SERVING
7. Serve as appropriate
