Jean Alice Pancakes
|Flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Maltomeal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Buttermilk||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Sour Milk)|
|Shortening||2 Tablespoon, melted|
1) In a mixer bowl, beat eggs.
2) Beat in rest of the ingredients until smooth.
3) Heat a griddle and pour a small amount of batter into it.
4) Cook the pancake until browned on both sides.
5) Continue the process until the whole of batter is used up.
6) Serve at once.
Pour more buttermilk for a lighter batter.
