Potato Pancakes Using Milk

Ingredients
  Raw potatoes 4 Large
  Onion 1 Small
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (for shallow frying)
Directions

Peel potatoes and grate with onion into milk.
Mix with remaining ingredients except shortening.
Drop by table-spoonfuls into hot shortening in skillet.
Brown on both sides, and serve at once.
