|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (sifted)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Buttermilk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
Sift first 5 ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop double tablespoons of batter onto hot greased griddle.
Turn when bubbles begin to break on the unbaked side and the edges turn brown.
Brown on other side.
Serve with whipped butter, syrup, jam, or fruit sauce.
