Sourdough Pancakes With Molasses

Ingredients
  Active dry yeast/2 cakes compressed yeast 2 Packet
  Water 1 Quart
  All purpose flour 6 Cup (96 tbs) (sifted)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Molasses 3 Tablespoon
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 5 Small, beaten
Directions

Dissolve yeast into warm water.
Let stand for a few minutes; then stir until dissolved.
Stir in flour.
Cover and let stand for 24 hours at room temperature.
Add salt, soda, molasses, and hot water.
Add eggs.
Don't beat them in, but just mix them in.
Let stand for 30 minutes.
Cook on a lightly greased heated griddle in the usual manner.
