|Grated cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Melted butter||1 1⁄4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Beat the eggs until pale yellow.
Pour in the water and continue beating.
Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
Add the egg and water mixture and beat.well.
Stir in the grated cheese and melted butter or vegetable oil.
Allow to stand for at least an hour before cooking.
Stir a few times and pour three tablespoons of the batter onto a hot, lightly oiled frypan or griddle.
Cook until bubbles appear and begin to break.
Turn and cook on the other side.
