Onion Pancakes

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), finley chopped
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook onion in 1 tablespoon salad oil till tender but not brown.
Meanwhile, sift together dry ingredients.
Combine remaining ingredients; add to dry mixture, stirring just till flour is moistened.
Add onions to batter.
Bake on hot griddle.
