Ingredients
  Buttermilk pancake mix 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Canned applesauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melted butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Sprinkles 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Multicolored)
Directions

1. Combine pancake mix, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in a medium-size bowl.
2. Beat egg slightly in small bowl; blend in applesauce and melted butter or margarine; stir into dry ingredients; mix well.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, on greased cookie sheets; decorate tops with multicolored sprinkles.
4. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 6 minutes, or until edges are slightly browned; cool cookies 1 minute, then remove with spatula and cool on wire racks. Store in a metal tin.
