Raised Wheat Pancakes
|Active dry yeast||2 Tablespoon|
|Skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Lukewarm)|
|Blackstrap molasses/Unsulphured molasses||1 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||2 , lightly beaten|
|Corn oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Whole wheat flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wheat germ||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Non fat dry milk powder||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
1. Dissolve the yeast in the warm skim milk. Add the molasses, eggs, and corn oil.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until blended. Ladle onto a hot, oiled griddle and cook until bubbles form; turn and brown the second side.
